Mom… it’ll be fine! Monkey Lyly was worried when she saw her mother shivering in the hot weather

It was a sweltering afternoon, and even the birds outside had gone quiet, seeking shade from the blazing sun. Monkey Lyly was happily sipping on a cool coconut drink when she suddenly noticed something strange — her mother, who had been sitting under the tree, was shivering despite the scorching heat.

Lyly blinked, confused. “Mom? Are you cold?” she asked, stepping closer.

Her mother looked pale, with beads of sweat on her forehead. She gave Lyly a weak smile and nodded slowly, “I don’t feel so good, Lyly.”

Immediately, worry spread across Lyly’s face. She had never seen her mom like this before. “You’re shivering… but it’s so hot!” she whispered, her little hands gently touching her mom’s arm. She didn’t understand why someone would be cold when the sun was so strong — it just didn’t make sense.

Lyly didn’t wait another second. She rushed inside the house, opened the fridge, and grabbed a cool towel and a bottle of water. Running back, she wrapped the towel around her mom’s neck and handed her the water.

“Here, Mom! Drink this… You’ll feel better!” she said, her voice filled with concern.

Her mom smiled faintly and took a sip, grateful for Lyly’s care. It turned out she was experiencing mild heat exhaustion — the sun had taken too much of her energy, and her body was trying to cope. Lyly sat next to her, holding her hand tightly.

“Don’t worry, Mom. I’ll take care of you,” she said softly, patting her mom’s hand the way she always saw her mom do to her when she was sick.

That small gesture, filled with love and worry, melted her mother’s heart. Despite being just a little monkey, Lyly showed big love. She stayed by her mom’s side all afternoon, fanning her, bringing cold snacks, and whispering, “It’ll be fine,” over and over.

And with Lyly’s warm heart and thoughtful care, it really was.
