One sunny afternoon, Monkey Lyly was playing quietly in the living room while her mother was busy doing chores in the kitchen. In her hungry and confused state, Lyly thought one of the colorful candles was a fancy treat—perhaps strawberry-flavored or maybe mango! Without a second thought, she took a big lick. Her face instantly twisted into the funniest expression of regret and surprise. The taste was awful!

There was Monkey Lyly, surrounded by a tipped-over purse, a chewed-up candle, and bits of tissue paper, looking up with innocent eyes as if nothing had happened. Her mom couldn’t believe what she was seeing and let out a laugh of shock and amusement.
