Monkey Lyly Was Worried and Confused When She Saw Her Mother Sick and Feverish

It was a quiet morning, and everything seemed normal in the house. Monkey Lyly, full of energy as always, was ready to start the day with her usual routine of running around, playing with toys, and begging her mom for snacks. But something felt different. When she went to her mother’s room to pull her out of bed for breakfast, Lyly stopped in her tracks.

Her mother was still lying down, eyes barely open, cheeks flushed red, and her breathing soft and slow. Monkey Lyly tilted her head, confused. “Mommy?” she said softly, poking her mother’s arm. But instead of the usual warm hug and bright smile, her mother only managed a tired, “Mommy’s not feeling well today, sweetie…”

Lyly blinked. She didn’t understand why her mom wasn’t getting up. Was she mad? Did something happen? Then, she noticed the cool wet towel on her mom’s forehead, and a thermometer on the bedside table. That’s when she realized something was wrong.

At first, Monkey Lyly didn’t know what to do. She sat beside her mom, watching her closely, unsure of how to help. But after a few moments, her little heart took over. She rushed to the kitchen, grabbed a bottle of water (even if it was too heavy for her), and dragged her mom’s favorite blanket from the couch to tuck her in.

She even tried to mimic what she’d seen her mom do when she was sick—patting her mom’s head gently and whispering, “It’s okay, Mama… I’m here.”

The day went by slowly, but Monkey Lyly stayed by her mother’s side, offering snacks, kisses, and cuddles. By evening, her mom was already feeling a little better, thanks to some rest—and Lyly’s sweet care.

It was a tough day for both of them, but it showed just how deeply Lyly loved her mom. Even when she was confused and scared, she did everything she could to help. And that’s what made her a true little hero.
