Lala’s family has a simple outdoor meal full of love!

The sun was beginning to set, painting the sky with soft shades of orange and pink, when Lala’s family decided it was the perfect evening for a simple outdoor meal. Mom spread a woven mat beneath the big mango tree, while Dad carried out a small basket filled with fresh vegetables, warm rice, and a pot of savory soup. Lala, with her bright curious eyes, followed closely behind, excited for what felt like a tiny picnic right in their own backyard.

As soon as everything was set, Lala clapped her little hands and sat between Mom and Dad. Dad gently scooped a spoonful of rice for her, while Mom added a little piece of boiled pumpkin—Lala’s favorite. Even though the meal was simple, the air was filled with warmth and joy. Lala’s soft giggles mixed with the chirping of crickets nearby, creating a peaceful melody that made the moment feel even more special.

Every now and then, Lala reached out with her tiny hands to grab a piece of food from Dad’s plate, and instead of stopping her, Dad burst into laughter. Mom shook her head playfully but couldn’t hide her smile. These little moments—messy, noisy, and full of love—were what made their family feel complete.

As they ate, a gentle breeze rustled the leaves above them. Lala lifted her face to feel the wind and let out a delighted squeal. She then leaned against Mom, swinging her little feet happily. Mom placed a soft kiss on Lala’s head, whispering, “Our little angel makes every meal taste better.”

When they finished eating, Dad brought out a tiny treat for Lala—sweet banana slices. Lala clapped again, thrilled, and shared one piece with Mom as if offering the greatest treasure.

The sky slowly turned dark, and the first stars appeared. The family stayed seated together a little longer, enjoying the quiet, comforting moment. It wasn’t a fancy dinner, nor a grand occasion—but for Lala’s family, this simple outdoor meal was overflowing with love, laughter, and togetherness. Moments like these were the ones they cherished most.
