The sun had just risen when Diem jumped out of bed with excitement sparkling in her eyes. Afterward, they visited game booths, played ring toss, and even joined a father-daughter painting activity where they created a colorful picture of a rainbow and a monkey—Diem’s favorite animal. They laughed together, posed for silly photos, and shared snacks while sitting on the grass.
As the afternoon sun began to set, Diem rested her head on her dad’s shoulder, tired but beaming with joy. “Today was the best,” she whispered, and her dad nodded, holding her close.
