Lyly… stop it right now! Monkey Lyly messed up her room to do this and I couldn’t stop laughing

It all started with an unusual silence coming from Monkey Lyly’s room. Usually, when she’s quiet, it means something is up—and this time was no exception. I cautiously approached her door, slightly ajar, and peeked inside. What I saw made me gasp… and then laugh so hard I nearly dropped my phone.

Monkey Lyly had turned her entire room into a “fashion studio.” Clothes were everywhere—hanging from the bed frame, draped over chairs, and even tied together to make some sort of runway. Makeup (yes, she had somehow gotten into my drawer!) was smeared on the mirror, stuffed animals were seated like an audience, and right in the middle stood Lyly with my scarf tied around her like a designer dress.

She was striking poses, holding a hairbrush like a microphone, and speaking into it: “Welcome to Lyly’s Fabulous Fashion Show!” Her eyes lit up when she saw me, and instead of being embarrassed, she invited me to take a seat. “You’re just in time for the finale!” she said with a twirl, nearly knocking over a lamp.

I couldn’t even be mad. Her creativity, energy, and confidence were on full display—even if the room was a complete disaster zone. She had used her imagination to create something amazing… even if it came with a lot of cleaning up afterward.

When I told her she’d have to help fix the mess, she groaned dramatically and said, “But fashion shows don’t clean up after themselves!” I handed her a small broom and winked, “Well, in this house, they do.”

We ended up laughing together as we tidied everything. Monkey Lyly may be mischievous, but her wild ideas always come from a place of joy and wonder. That day reminded me that sometimes, a little mess is just part of the magic.
