Cubis monkey committed a serious crime! Dad will punish the Cubis monkey

It started as a peaceful morning in the house. The sun was shining, the birds were chirping, and Dad was busy tidying up the living room. Everything seemed calm—until a strange crash came from the kitchen. Dad froze for a second before rushing to see what had happened.

There, standing in the middle of the mess, was Cubis—the mischievous little monkey—with chocolate smeared all over his mouth and a guilty look in his eyes. On the floor lay the remains of Dad’s freshly baked cake, the one he had made for the guests coming that evening. Plates were broken, crumbs were everywhere, and the refrigerator door was wide open.

“Cubis!” Dad shouted, half in shock, half in disbelief. “What did you do?!”

Cubis tried to look innocent, quickly hiding his sticky hands behind his back. But the evidence was undeniable—his face said it all. Realizing he’d been caught red-handed (or rather, chocolate-handed), he slowly lowered his head, ears drooping in shame.

Dad sighed deeply. “This is a serious crime, Cubis. You know you’re not supposed to touch things in the kitchen without me.”

Cubis whimpered softly, covering his eyes with his little hands. He knew punishment was coming, but Dad wasn’t cruel. Instead of scolding too harshly, Dad decided on a lesson. “Alright, little troublemaker,” he said, “you’re going to help clean this entire kitchen. Every bit of it.”

Cubis blinked in surprise, then nodded. For the next hour, under Dad’s watchful eye, Cubis wiped the floor, picked up the broken pieces, and even tried to scrub the chocolate stains (though he made more bubbles than progress).

By the time they were done, the kitchen was spotless again—and Cubis had learned his lesson. Dad knelt down, smiled, and gently patted his head. “See? Much better. Next time, ask before you eat.”

Cubis hugged Dad tightly, promising to behave. Of course, everyone knows Cubis—he’ll always be curious. But that day, he learned that even the naughtiest monkey must face the consequences of his “crimes”… with a clean kitchen and a wiser heart.
