Smart Cubis Monkey Helps Dad Go to the Market to Buy Food!

Early in the morning, the sun had barely risen when Dad grabbed his shopping basket and called out, “Cubis, let’s go to the market!” At the sound of his name, the clever little monkey jumped from his bed with excitement. His eyes sparkled, and his tiny hands clapped with joy. Going to the market was one of Cubis’s favorite adventures—he loved meeting people, smelling fresh fruits, and, of course, helping Dad with the shopping!

As they walked down the road, Cubis proudly held onto the basket. Every time Dad stopped, Cubis watched carefully, trying to remember what they needed. At the fruit stall, Dad picked up some bananas, and Cubis’s eyes widened. He quickly grabbed a few more, as if saying, “We’ll need extras!” The vendor laughed, giving him a sweet smile and a small banana for being such a good helper.

At the vegetable stand, Cubis showed his clever side. When Dad pointed at the tomatoes, Cubis reached out, carefully choosing the ripest ones—bright red and perfectly round. Everyone around admired his intelligence and gentle touch. “Such a smart little monkey!” the shopkeeper said. Cubis puffed up proudly, holding the bag like a true assistant.

Next, they stopped at the fish stall. Cubis wrinkled his nose at the smell but didn’t back away. He watched as Dad chose the freshest fish and even helped carry a small bag, balancing it with both hands like a little professional. People couldn’t stop smiling at the adorable sight of the tiny monkey working so hard.

After buying everything, Dad rewarded Cubis with a cool coconut drink. Cubis sat on the bench, sipping happily through a straw, his tail swinging in rhythm with his joy. On the way home, he kept checking the basket to make sure nothing was missing—such a responsible little helper!

When they returned, Mom was amazed. “Good job, Cubis! You helped Dad so well!” she said, giving him a big hug. Cubis grinned proudly, clapping his hands again. It was another successful day for the clever little monkey who proved, once more, that love and teamwork make even the simplest tasks special.
