CUTIS & Baby Monkey Refuse to Herd Cow to Go to a Special Place

It was a bright and breezy morning on the little farm, and Mom had a simple mission for the day—take the cow to a nearby field for a special check-up. She called out cheerfully, “Cutis! Baby monkey! Come help me lead the cow!” Normally, both of them were full of excitement whenever there was a new task. But today… things didn’t go quite as planned.

Cutis, the mischievous little dog, wagged his tail but didn’t move an inch. He tilted his head, looking suspiciously at the cow who was munching lazily nearby. Beside him, the baby monkey clung to his back, blinking in confusion. When Mom handed them the rope and pointed toward the gate, the two looked at each other as if to say, “You do it!”

The cow let out a loud “Moo,” shaking her big head. That was enough to make the baby monkey jump onto Cutis’s back with a squeal of protest. Cutis barked nervously, running in tiny circles, clearly refusing to go anywhere near the large animal. Mom couldn’t help but laugh at the scene—the brave duo who had faced so many adventures together were now refusing a simple cow herding duty!

After several attempts to coax them, Mom decided to try a trick. She took out a basket of bananas and Cutis’s favorite treats. “If you help me, you’ll get these when we’re done!” she said with a smile. Instantly, the baby monkey peeked from behind Cutis’s ear, eyeing the bananas, while Cutis wagged his tail eagerly.

With new motivation, they finally agreed to help. Still cautious, they walked beside the cow—Cutis leading from a safe distance while the monkey rode proudly on his back, keeping watch.

By the time they reached the special field, everyone was laughing. Mom praised them with gentle pats and rewards. Though they had started with stubborn refusals and a bit of fear, Cutis and the baby monkey ended the day as heroes once again—proving that with love (and a few treats), even the most reluctant helpers can do something special.
