Cubis and Luk Monkeys Sneak Out of Dad to Go Get Coffee

It was a bright morning in the little monkey family’s home. Dad was busy cleaning the yard, while Cubis and Luk sat on the porch, whispering to each other with mischievous grins. Cubis had just seen a café on the other side of the village where the aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air every morning. He nudged Luk and said softly, “Let’s go get some coffee! Just a quick trip—Dad won’t even notice.” Luk’s eyes widened with excitement but also a bit of fear. “But Dad told us not to go out alone!” Cubis grinned, “We’ll be quick, promise!”

And so, the two little monkeys tiptoed past Dad, hiding behind flowerpots and fences until they reached the main road. Their hearts raced with both thrill and guilt as they finally spotted the cozy café. The smell of roasted beans made them even more eager. They climbed onto a small chair and peeked over the counter, where the friendly barista chuckled upon seeing the tiny adventurers. “Well, well, what do we have here? Two little coffee lovers?” he joked kindly.

He poured them two small cups of warm, milk-flavored coffee — safe and sweet for monkeys like them. Cubis took a sip and sighed happily, “Wow, this is amazing!” Luk nodded with a big smile, feeling proud of their secret mission.

However, their happiness was short-lived. Suddenly, a familiar voice called out, “CUBIS! LUK!” Both froze. Dad was standing at the door, arms crossed but trying not to laugh at the sight of his two guilty-faced monkeys sipping coffee.

When they got home, Dad gave them a gentle lecture about safety but couldn’t stay angry for long. “Next time,” he said, smiling, “you could’ve just asked me. We can all go together.” Cubis and Luk promised never to sneak out again.

That night, they snuggled close to Dad, dreaming of another coffee day — but this time, with permission and family laughter.
