It was a quiet afternoon when Cubis suddenly began to squirm, frown, and let out his signature “uh-oh” sound. Dad, who had been sitting comfortably on the couch, glanced over and immediately knew something was wrong. Cubis’ little face told the whole story—his diaper was full, and he was not happy about it!
With tiny arms reaching out, Cubis called for help, his big eyes pleading with Dad to fix the situation right away. But instead of rushing, Dad decided to have a little fun. “Oh no, Cubis!” Dad said in a dramatic voice, fanning the air as if a huge storm had blown into the living room. “Did a dragon crawl into your diaper?!”
Cubis giggled despite his discomfort, clapping his hands as Dad continued his silly performance. Pretending to wear an invisible hazmat suit, Dad marched around the room, holding his nose. “This is a Code Red Emergency!” he declared, making siren noises as he scooped Cubis up and carried him to the changing table.
Cubis kicked his legs happily, feeling better already just from Dad’s goofy antics. As Dad opened the diaper, he pretended to faint dramatically, flopping against the wall. “Oh no, Cubis, how can one tiny person make such a big mess?” he exclaimed, which made Cubis laugh so hard his hiccups returned.
The rescue mission didn’t take long. With wipes, fresh powder, and a brand-new diaper, Dad worked like a superhero on a top-secret mission. Finally, Cubis was clean, comfortable, and smiling again. Dad held him up high, announcing proudly, “Mission complete! Cubis is fresh and ready for action!”
The whole room filled with laughter as Cubis snuggled into Dad’s arms, his earlier cries forgotten. It was just another ordinary day turned extraordinary by Cubis’ little call for help and Dad’s funny, loving reaction.
