Every morning, Monkey Lyly follows the same routine—waking up with the sunrise, stretching her tiny arms, and eagerly waiting for her favorite breakfast. She enjoys the peaceful rhythm of her mornings, filled with playful moments and familiar faces. But today was different. Something—or rather, someone—unexpected had disrupted her routine.
As Lyly sat on her favorite branch, munching on a ripe banana, she suddenly froze. Her sharp eyes locked onto a figure approaching from the distance. It wasn’t Bố or any of her usual companions. This was a stranger! Instantly, Lyly’s tiny hands tightened around her fruit as she tilted her head in curiosity and concern.
Who was this new visitor? What did they want?
Lyly’s usual playful chatter was replaced by quiet observation. She climbed higher, positioning herself safely among the leaves, where she could get a better look. The stranger, a kind-looking person, cautiously extended a hand as if to greet her. But Lyly wasn’t so sure yet. She let out a small squeak, signaling her confusion.
Bố, noticing her hesitation, gently reassured her. “It’s okay, Lyly. This is a friend.” His soothing voice made her relax slightly, but she was still cautious. Slowly, she inched forward, sniffing the air, trying to determine if this newcomer was truly friendly.
Then, something surprising happened. The stranger offered Lyly a treat—her favorite mango slice! Her eyes widened in surprise. Could this be a peace offering? She hesitated for a moment, then, with careful movements, reached out and took the fruit.
As she took her first bite, a look of delight crossed her face. Maybe this stranger wasn’t so bad after all! With her trust slowly building, Lyly chattered softly and even dared to inch a little closer.
Though her morning routine had been unexpectedly disrupted, it had turned into an exciting new experience. Sometimes, change can be a little scary, but as Lyly learned today, it can also bring sweet surprises!
