Baby monkey Susie is worried that kitten will be lost without mom cat

Baby monkey Susie had always been a gentle little soul, full of curiosity and kindness. One warm afternoon, while playing near the garden, she heard a tiny sound—soft, trembling, and full of worry. Susie froze, ears perked. Then she spotted it: a small gray kitten, no bigger than her own hands, hiding under a bush and crying helplessly.

Susie’s eyes widened with concern. She slowly approached, careful not to scare the little one. “Meep… meep…” the kitten cried again. Susie’s heart squeezed. Where was the mom cat? Why was the kitten alone?

Gently, Susie scooped the trembling kitten into her arms. The kitten curled against her chest, seeking warmth. Susie looked around anxiously, hoping to see the mother cat appear. But the yard was quiet, the only sound the rustle of leaves in the breeze. Susie’s worry grew—what if the kitten got lost? What if the mother cat couldn’t find it?

Determined, Susie hurried toward the house, calling for Dad with little chirps and squeaks. When Dad came out, he found Susie clinging tightly to the kitten, her round eyes full of fear. Dad knelt beside her, gently stroking both the baby monkey and the kitten. “Don’t worry, Susie,” he said softly. “We’ll help the little one. Mom cat might be looking for her baby right now.”

But Susie wasn’t convinced. She shook her head, hugging the kitten tighter as if it might disappear. Dad smiled and began searching the yard with her. Susie stayed close, listening for any sign of the mother cat. Finally, after a few minutes, a soft meow echoed from behind the shed.

The mother cat appeared, eyes bright with relief. As soon as she saw the kitten, she hurried forward. Susie’s face lit up. Carefully, she placed the kitten down, watching as it rushed into its mother’s warm embrace.

Susie sighed with pure happiness. The moment was simple, but to her, it felt like a precious victory. She had helped reunite a family.

That evening, Dad praised her kindness, and Susie snuggled into his arms—proud, relieved, and grateful that the kitten was safe where it belonged.
