Monkey Cubis goes to the market to buy breakfast with Dad!

The morning sun had just risen, painting the sky in soft shades of gold. Monkey Cubis woke up early, full of excitement. Today wasn’t just any morning—it was market day! Dad had promised to take him along to buy breakfast, and Cubis could hardly wait. As soon as he saw Dad putting on his hat, Cubis jumped onto his shoulder with a happy squeal, ready for adventure.

The streets were already busy when they arrived. Vendors shouted cheerfully, calling out prices of fresh fruits and warm bread. The air was filled with delicious smells—ripe bananas, roasted peanuts, and steaming rice cakes. Cubis’ nose twitched, and his eyes grew wide. He wanted everything!

Dad smiled as Cubis pointed to a stall stacked high with bananas. “Of course, you’d want those first,” Dad laughed. The vendor chuckled too and handed Cubis a small bunch. Cubis clapped his hands in delight and offered one to Dad before peeling his own.

As they walked through the market, Cubis became everyone’s favorite visitor. Children giggled when he tried to blow kisses at them, and the shopkeepers waved, saying, “Good morning, little monkey!” At one stall, he spotted a basket of eggs and tried to count them—only to nearly knock the basket over. Dad quickly caught it, and Cubis gave an innocent grin that made everyone laugh.

After gathering fresh bread, milk, and some fruit, Dad bought a warm breakfast snack for Cubis—a small pancake rolled with honey. Cubis sat on Dad’s shoulder munching happily, his little cheeks puffed out.

On the way home, Cubis held the banana stem like a trophy, proud of his morning’s adventure. When they reached the gate, he looked up at Dad with grateful eyes, as if to say, “Thank you for bringing me.” Dad patted his head and said, “You were a great helper today, Cubis.”

That morning became one of their sweetest memories—a simple trip to the market that filled their hearts with laughter, love, and the joy of being together. 🐒❤️🥞
