It started like any other morning for little monkey Lala. The sun peeked through the window, birds sang cheerfully, and she was full of excitement for a fun day ahead. She brushed her fur, tied her favorite pink ribbon, and skipped to the kitchen for breakfast. But that’s where her unlucky streak began. The moment she reached for her banana milk, it slipped right out of her hands and splashed all over the floor!
“Oh no!” Lala gasped, her tail drooping. She cleaned up the mess as best as she could and decided not to let it ruin her mood. After all, accidents happen, right? But when she went outside, things only got worse. She tripped over a small rock and tumbled straight into a puddle of mud! Her ribbon, once so pretty and pink, was now brown and soggy.
Trying to stay positive, she walked to her friend Cubis’s house, hoping he could cheer her up. On the way, she saw a stray puppy shivering under a tree. Despite her messy state, Lala couldn’t ignore him. She took off her small jacket and wrapped it around the puppy. His grateful little wag made her heart warm, even as her own fur grew cold.
By the time she reached Cubis’s place, she sneezed loudly—“Achoo!”—and Cubis burst out laughing before helping her dry off. Together, they made warm tea and shared bananas. Lala finally smiled, realizing that even on the worst days, kindness could turn everything around.
Later that evening, as she returned home, her mother greeted her with a cozy blanket and a gentle hug. “You may have had an unlucky day,” her mother said softly, “but you made it unforgettable with your heart.”
Lala snuggled close, feeling tired yet happy. It truly was an unlucky day—but one filled with lessons, laughter, and love she’d never forget.
