This morning in the peaceful countryside, little Cubis Monkey suddenly vanished without a sound. One moment he was happily playing with his toys under the tree, and the next—poof!—he was gone. Dad, who was reading nearby, looked up and immediately noticed the silence. “Cubis?” he called, glancing around. No reply.
A slight panic started to creep in. Dad searched behind the banana trees, under the wooden bench, and even peeked inside the chicken coop. “Where did he go?” he muttered, heart racing with worry. Cubis was never this quiet unless he was up to something—or in trouble.
But far from any danger, Cubis Monkey was just doing something quite… personal. Embarrassed and shy, he had tiptoed away into a quiet bushy corner behind the house to poop. You see, Cubis had recently developed a strange habit: whenever nature called, he preferred to hide in privacy rather than go in front of anyone, especially Dad!
As Dad continued searching, calling his name more urgently, Cubis sat quietly in his hiding spot, eyes wide, hoping no one would find him in such a moment. A few chickens walked by, eyeing him curiously, but Cubis didn’t budge.
Finally, after several minutes of worry, Dad heard a soft rustle and peeked through the leaves. There was Cubis—caught mid-poop, looking absolutely guilty! Dad sighed in relief, his concern turning into laughter. “Cubis! I was so worried about you!”
Cubis squeaked and covered his face, but Dad gently patted his head. “Next time, just tell me, okay?” he chuckled. After cleaning up, Dad gave him a little banana as a reward—for both finishing his business and giving his father quite a scare.
From that day on, Cubis’s shy bathroom breaks became a running joke in the family—but Dad always kept an extra eye on him, just in case he disappeared again!
