One sunny morning in the little monkey house, laughter and chatter filled the air. Mom was busy in the kitchen preparing breakfast when she noticed something unusual—baby monkey Lyly had tied a tiny towel around her waist, holding a spoon like a professional chef! Today, she decided she was going to cook for her best friend, little CUTIS!
With her serious little face, Lyly climbed onto a stool and started “cooking.” She grabbed a small pot, dropped in imaginary vegetables, and stirred with all her strength. Mom watched from behind the door, trying not to laugh too loudly. Lyly pretended to taste her “soup,” smacked her lips dramatically, then nodded in approval. She even sprinkled pretend salt by tapping her little fingers in the air! CUTIS, curious as ever, came closer to peek into the pot. After all her “cooking,” Lyly finally served CUTIS a bowl filled with imaginary food. CUTIS sniffed it, blinked twice, then clapped his tiny hands as if saying, “Delicious!” The two little monkeys then sat side by side, pretending to eat their feast together, giggling and making funny sounds with every “bite.”
When Mom finally stepped in and handed them some real fruit slices, both monkeys squealed with joy. Lyly proudly fed CUTIS a banana piece, clearly satisfied with her successful cooking session.
