When little monkey Cubis moved into his new home in the countryside, everything seemed exciting and new. There were soft beds, delicious fruit, and so many toys to play with. But soon, Cubis found himself in big trouble!
Early in the morning, Cubis woke up with a funny feeling in his tummy. He looked around but didn’t see the familiar place where he used to go to the toilet at his old home. He scratched his head, paced around the room, and thought hard. “Hmm… where do I go now?” he murmured to himself, his tail twitching nervously.
He peeked into one room, then another. One had a shiny bathtub; another had a big mirror. Everything looked clean and confusing! Cubis didn’t want to make a mistake—but his tummy was rumbling, and time was running out!
Finally, he spotted a big flowerpot near the door. “Maybe this is it!” he thought proudly. But oh no! Just as he finished, Mom walked in and gasped. “Cubis! That’s not the toilet!” she cried, trying not to laugh.
Cubis’s cheeks turned red as he covered his face with his little hands. “I didn’t know, Mom,” he mumbled softly. Mom sighed, picked him up gently, and said, “It’s okay, Cubis. You’re still learning. Let’s show you where the real toilet is.”
She brought him to the bathroom and patiently explained, “This is where you go when you need to potty. See? It’s easy!” Cubis watched carefully, nodding seriously.
Later that day, Cubis tried again—and this time, he got it right! Mom clapped her hands happily, and Cubis danced with joy. “I did it! I found the toilet!” he shouted proudly.
From that day on, Cubis never forgot where the toilet was. Whenever he had to go, he raced straight to the bathroom, giggling the whole way. Even though his first day ended in a little trouble, it became one of the funniest memories in his new home—and a story Mom would never stop telling!
