But the final gift made her squeal with pure joy—a miniature tea set with painted flowers, perfect for her tea parties with Cubis and Lyly. “This is the best day ever!” she exclaimed, bouncing on the bed.
Mom sat beside her, gently stroking her hair. “These are more than gifts, Lala. They’re rewards for your kindness, your hard work, and the love you share with everyone.” Lala hugged her mother tightly, tears glistening in her eyes—not from sadness, but from overwhelming happiness.
She twirled in her new dress, slipping the bracelet onto her wrist. “Can I share tea with you later, Mom?” she asked shyly. Mom nodded with a smile. “I would love nothing more.”
