Cubis could hardly sit still. His tail swished with excitement as Dad fastened his tiny vest. Today was a big day—Dad was taking him to explore a brand-new mega mansion that had just been built in town. “Ready, little explorer?” Dad asked with a smile. Cubis clapped his hands eagerly. “Let’s go, Dad!”
The gates of the mansion opened with a grand creak, revealing a path lined with marble statues and flower gardens bigger than Cubis had ever seen. His jaw dropped. “Is this all one house?” he gasped. Dad nodded proudly. “Yes, Cubis. But today, it’s our adventure land.”
They stepped inside the massive foyer, where crystal chandeliers twinkled like stars. Cubis twirled in awe, his little feet echoing across the polished floor. “This place is magical!” he whispered. Dad chuckled. “Just wait until you see the surprises.”
First, they discovered a grand staircase that split into two directions. Cubis chose the left, racing up towards a hallway filled with mysterious doors. The first room they entered was a giant library, with bookshelves stretching to the ceiling and ladders on wheels. Cubis climbed onto a reading chair so large it swallowed him whole. “I could live in here forever,” he said, imagining himself as a wise explorer.
Next, Dad led him to a playroom bigger than any playground. There were tunnels, colorful slides, and even a climbing wall. Cubis squealed with joy and scrambled up the ropes, shouting, “I’m king of the mansion!” Dad laughed, clapping from below.
But the biggest surprise awaited outside—a swimming pool shaped like a giant lagoon, complete with a waterfall and floating chairs. Cubis dipped his toes and splashed around, pretending he was a pirate discovering hidden treasure.
As the sun began to set, Cubis and Dad stood on the balcony overlooking the gardens. “One day,” Cubis said dreamily, “I want a house like this.” Dad placed a gentle hand on his shoulder. “With imagination, Cubis, you already do.”
They left the mansion with hearts full of wonder. For Cubis, it wasn’t just a house—it was a world of dreams, and the best part was exploring it hand in hand with Dad.
