The morning sun peeked through the trees as Cubis woke up, filled with excitement. Today wasn’t just any day — Dad had promised to take him on a trip to the big waterfall deep in the forest! Cubis quickly packed his small backpack with snacks, a towel, and his favorite camera. “Are you ready, Cubis?” Dad called out with a cheerful grin. “Let’s go, Dad!” Cubis shouted, hopping onto his small scooter as they began their adventure.
The road to the waterfall was full of wonders. Along the way, Cubis saw colorful butterflies fluttering above wildflowers and listened to the cheerful songs of the birds. When they passed a narrow bridge, Cubis leaned over to watch the fish swimming below. Everything felt magical — like the whole forest was welcoming them.
After a long, bumpy trail, they finally reached the waterfall. Cubis gasped in awe. The water sparkled like silver as it tumbled down from a tall cliff, crashing into a crystal-clear pool below. Mist danced in the air, cooling their faces as they stood in admiration. Cubis ran toward the edge, feeling the spray of water on his fur. “Wow, Dad, it’s so beautiful!” he exclaimed, his eyes wide with joy.
Dad laughed and splashed water playfully toward Cubis. Soon, they were both laughing, swimming, and chasing each other near the shallow part of the pool. Cubis even found a smooth stone shaped like a heart and decided to keep it as a souvenir. After playing, they sat under a tree to enjoy their snacks, listening to the soothing sound of the waterfall.
As the sun began to set, golden light shimmered across the water. Cubis leaned on Dad’s shoulder, feeling peaceful and happy. “This was the best day ever,” he whispered. Dad smiled warmly, patting his head. “We’ll come back again, Cubis. Nature always has more adventures waiting for us.”
And as they walked home hand in hand, Cubis couldn’t stop smiling — the memory of the waterfall trip would stay in his heart forever.
