Cubis sadly wants to return home with Cutis!

Cubis, the playful little monkey, usually loved his adventures. He would climb trees, swing from branches, and chase butterflies with endless energy. But on this day, something felt different. His best friend, Cutis, had been taken to another village for a short stay with relatives. For the first time, Cubis found himself without his partner in fun, and the silence left him feeling empty.

He sat by the doorway of his home, chin resting on his tiny hands, his eyes gazing toward the path where he had last seen Cutis. The once lively Cubis now looked lost, his tail dragging on the ground instead of curling with excitement. His family tried to cheer him up with treats and toys, but nothing could replace the warmth of Cutis’s company.

That night, Cubis could hardly sleep. He kept tossing and turning, dreaming of climbing trees with Cutis, sharing bananas, and laughing at their silly games. When morning came, Cubis made up his mind. He tugged gently at his father’s arm, pointing to the road and softly chattering as if to say, “Please, let’s go bring Cutis home.” His sad little eyes spoke louder than words.

Understanding his son’s heartache, Dad decided to take Cubis on a short trip. Together, they walked along the familiar paths toward the village where Cutis was staying. With every step, Cubis’s energy seemed to return, his pace quickening as he sensed he was getting closer.

At last, they reached the house. The moment Cubis spotted Cutis, his sadness vanished. He ran forward, squealing with joy, wrapping his little arms around his friend. The two monkeys hopped and danced in circles, tails twirling like ribbons. Dad couldn’t help but laugh at the sight—two best friends reunited, their bond stronger than ever.

From that day on, Cubis understood that even if distance sometimes kept them apart, true friendship always found its way back home.
