Poor little Lala had been looking forward to a peaceful night’s rest. After a long day of play, she curled up on her soft blanket, ready to drift into dreamland. But just as her eyes grew heavy, the noise began. The neighbors were louder than ever—talking, laughing, playing music, and stomping around as if the walls didn’t exist.
At first, Lala tried to ignore it. She covered her ears with her tiny paws, hoping the sounds would fade away. She even buried her head under her blanket, but the thumping bass and chatter still slipped through. Her eyes opened wide in frustration. Why did it always have to happen at bedtime?
Minutes felt like hours. Every time she thought the noise would stop, another burst of laughter or a loud bang echoed through the night. Lala shifted positions, rolled over, and even sat up with a big sigh. She looked at Dad as if to say, “Do you hear this too? How am I supposed to sleep like this?”
Dad tried to soothe her, gently patting her back and whispering that it would be okay. But Lala’s patience was running out. She stomped her little feet, gave a frustrated squeak, and stared at the ceiling as if her glare could silence the neighbors.
Finally, Dad decided to help. He put on some soft calming music, hoping it would drown out the noise. Lala snuggled closer, listening to the soothing sounds instead of the chaos outside. Slowly, her heavy eyelids began to close again, though her ears still twitched at every burst of noise.
It wasn’t the perfect solution, but with Dad by her side, Lala finally managed to drift off into a restless but comforting sleep. Even though the neighbors had no idea how much their noise affected her, Lala knew one thing—she had Dad to help her through the noisy nights.
Sometimes, love is louder than any noise.
