Cubis obediently waits for dad to buy breakfast

The morning sun was just beginning to rise, painting the streets in a soft golden glow. Dad parked the scooter outside a small food stall, the smell of freshly baked bread and warm noodles filling the air. Sitting right behind him, Cubis knew exactly what this meant—it was breakfast time.

While Dad walked over to place the order, Cubis stayed seated, quiet and patient. His little hands rested on his lap, his curious eyes following every movement, but he didn’t make a sound. No fussing, no wandering, no pulling for attention. Instead, he waited with such calmness that even passersby couldn’t help but smile at the sight.

For Cubis, mornings like this had become a routine. He knew Dad would always come back with a warm bag of food, and sometimes even a little treat just for him. Trust and love kept him waiting without worry, because in his heart, he knew Dad would never let him down.

As people walked by, they whispered softly to each other, admiring how well-behaved Cubis was. Some children nearby tugged at their parents, pointing at him as if to say, “Look how good he is!” But Cubis didn’t pay attention. His focus stayed on the food stall, his small body sitting upright, his eyes shining with anticipation.

A few minutes later, Dad returned with steaming bags of breakfast in his hands. The moment Cubis saw him, his whole face lit up, but still, he stayed seated, waiting for Dad to signal that it was time to go. That quiet patience spoke louder than words—Cubis wasn’t just obedient, he was respectful and deeply connected to his father.

Together, they drove off into the morning streets, breakfast in hand and joy in their hearts. It was such a simple moment, yet it reflected a bond of trust and love that was anything but ordinary.
