She needs a home 🥺 If CiCi was trained better and not food aggressive I would absolutely take Pearl home.

Pearl’s story is one that tugs at the heart. She’s a gentle, beautiful dog with soft eyes that seem to carry a lifetime of longing. From the moment you meet her, it’s clear—she doesn’t want much. Just safety, love, and a place to finally call home.

When I first spent time with Pearl, I could see how special she was. Her calm nature, her sweet face pressed gently against my hand, the way she leaned in as if to say, “Please don’t forget me.” Every little gesture made me wish I could scoop her up and bring her home that very day.

But reality isn’t always so simple. With CiCi already in the house, I know the challenges. CiCi has a big personality, and while I love her dearly, she can be food aggressive. Bringing Pearl in without the proper training or slow introduction could be risky for both of them. It wouldn’t be fair to CiCi, and it wouldn’t be fair to Pearl either.

And that’s what makes this so hard. Because in my heart, I know Pearl deserves more than waiting. She deserves long walks, cozy nights on the couch, someone to whisper her name with love. She deserves a family who sees her not as “just another rescue,” but as their whole world.

I can’t be that home for her right now—but maybe you can. Maybe someone reading this will see what I see: a dog who just wants to give and receive love. Training, patience, consistency—those are things she can thrive with. She doesn’t need perfection. She just needs someone willing to give her a chance.

So here I am, sharing Pearl’s story in hopes her forever family finds her soon. Because no dog should wait too long for the love they deserve. And when that day comes, Pearl will shine, finally knowing she’s truly home.
