Monkey Lyly Said Goodbye to Her Mother and Stayed Home Alone. Why???

It was an unusual morning for Monkey Lyly. Normally, she would cling to her mother, following her everywhere she went. But today, something was different. As her mother prepared to leave, Lyly stood by the door, waving her tiny hand.

“Be good while I’m gone, Lyly,” her mother said, giving her a warm pat on the head.

Lyly nodded, but deep down, she felt a little nervous. This was her first time staying home alone! She had always been with her mother, playing, eating, and even napping together. So why did she choose to stay back today?

It all started the night before. Lyly had overheard her mother talking about a trip to the market, which was usually a fun outing for them. But this time, there was a problem—the market was going to be crowded, and her mother was worried that Lyly might get lost in the chaos.

“I’ll be back soon,” her mother had reassured her. “It’s better if you stay home safe.”

At first, Lyly felt sad, but then she decided she would be brave. She wanted to prove that she could be independent, just like the grown-up monkeys she had seen. So, when morning came, she smiled and told her mother goodbye.

As soon as the door closed, Lyly stood in the middle of the room, looking around. “Now what?” she thought.

She tried playing with her toys, but they weren’t as fun without her mother. She peeked outside the window, watching birds fly by. Then, she decided to snack on some bananas, but she missed sharing them.

Minutes passed, then hours. Lyly tried to stay strong, but loneliness slowly crept in. Just as she was about to curl up in the corner, she heard a familiar sound—her mother’s footsteps at the door!

The moment the door opened, Lyly rushed into her mother’s arms, clinging to her tightly. “I missed you!” she chattered excitedly.

Her mother chuckled and hugged her back. “See? You did great! But next time, I’ll take you with me.”

Lyly smiled, relieved. Being independent was tough, but nothing compared to the comfort of being with her mother.
