Lala goes to the farm to help Mom harvest jackfruit and enjoy it!

It was a bright, sunny morning when Lala and Mom set off to the farm, their spirits high and a basket in hand. Today wasn’t just any regular day—it was jackfruit harvesting day! Lala, always eager to lend a paw (and maybe sneak a snack or two), couldn’t wait to help Mom collect the big, spiky treasures hanging from the trees.

As they walked down the dirt path surrounded by green fields and chirping birds, Lala’s eyes lit up at the sight of the tall jackfruit trees swaying gently in the breeze. Some of the fruits were so big, they looked like they could be mistaken for small watermelons hanging in the sky! Mom laughed softly as Lala stood on tiptoes, trying to reach one with her tiny hands.

“Don’t worry, Lala,” Mom said warmly, pulling out a long stick with a small blade at the end. “I’ll cut it down, and you catch it.”

Teamwork made the dream work! As Mom carefully brought down each ripe jackfruit, Lala rolled them gently into the basket, her face lighting up with joy every time one landed perfectly. Sticky sap and the sweet smell of jackfruit filled the air, and soon their basket was overflowing with golden goodness.

After all the hard work, they found a shady spot under a tree. Mom cracked open one of the ripe jackfruits and offered Lala the first taste. Her eyes widened with delight as the sweet, juicy flavor burst in her mouth. “Mmm!” she squealed, clapping her hands. “It tastes like sunshine!”

They spent the rest of the afternoon eating, laughing, and even sharing a few pieces with the nearby ducks and chickens. It wasn’t just about the fruit—it was the love and time spent together that made the moment so special.

By the time they packed up to head home, Lala was full, happy, and a little sticky, already asking when they’d come back to harvest again. 💛
