Bath time in the household usually goes smoothly—unless you’re dealing with Cubis the monkey. What started as a normal day turned into a full-blown comedy show when Cubis discovered it was bath time. The moment he saw the towel and heard the water running, he bolted like a lightning bolt, arms flailing and eyes wide with dramatic panic.
“Cubis, come here! It’s just a little water!” we called, but he wasn’t having it. He peeked around the corner, then darted under the table, clutching a banana as if it were a shield. Every time we got close, he’d squeal with laughter and leap to a new hiding spot—behind the couch, under the curtain, even on top of the fridge at one point!
The rebellion was real.
Eventually, we managed to outsmart him with a bribe: a piece of his favorite mango. He crept out cautiously, suspicious of our every move. But the second we scooped him up and headed for the tub, he let out a comical screech that echoed through the whole house. You’d think we were taking him to a crocodile pit instead of a warm bubble bath!
Once in the water, though, Cubis’s attitude shifted. After a few splashy protests, he relaxed, letting the warm water soak through his fur. He began to play with the bubbles, making funny shapes and splashing like a child. His squeals turned into giggles, and he even let us scrub his back without a fuss—though he made sure to splash us thoroughly in revenge.
After his bath, wrapped in a fluffy towel and munching on a treat, Cubis acted like nothing had happened. But we all knew the truth—he had led a full-scale bath time rebellion, and he nearly won.
It’s moments like these that remind us how full of personality Cubis really is. Mischievous, clever, and full of drama—bath time with him is never boring!
