Lala, our sweet and curious little monkey, had been acting a bit different lately. She wasn’t as playful as usual and seemed tired more often than not. Though she still tried to be cheerful, we could tell something wasn’t quite right. So, we decided it was time to take her to the animal hospital for a full check-up.
The moment we arrived at the clinic, Lala clung to us tightly. She was nervous but brave. The staff welcomed her gently, speaking in calm voices and offering her soft pats to ease her tension. First, the veterinarian began with a general examination. They checked her eyes, ears, mouth, and heartbeat. Lala sat quietly, occasionally looking up at us for reassurance. The vet noted that her breathing seemed slightly irregular and decided it would be best to do an x-ray.
Lala was placed carefully on the x-ray table, wrapped in a warm blanket for comfort. The team worked quickly but gently, making sure she wasn’t stressed. We waited anxiously outside the room, hoping for good news. Soon after, the doctor returned with the results. The x-rays showed some mild inflammation in her chest, likely caused by a recent cold or infection. Thankfully, it wasn’t anything too serious.
The doctor explained everything clearly and gave us medication to help Lala recover fully. She would need a few days of rest, plenty of fluids, and lots of love and care. We felt so relieved knowing what was going on and how to help her heal.
On the way home, Lala seemed more relaxed, as if she knew we were doing everything to make her feel better. She snuggled up close, letting out a soft sigh. That evening, she even managed a few happy chirps and small playful jumps.
Lala may have had a scary day, but thanks to the kind vet team and a clear diagnosis, she’s on her way to feeling like herself again. We’ll be right by her side, every step of the way.
