Lala never expected her ordinary morning to turn into something so special. She was still rubbing sleep from her eyes when a delivery van pulled up in front of the house. Another box revealed toys she had never seen before: feather wands, bouncy balls, and even a tiny cat tree with a hammock. One by one, each gift was more thoughtful than the last.
But what touched her most wasn’t the things themselves — it was the message in the letter. Kien had written, “Even when I’m far away, I want you to feel my care. You’ve been so patient, so loving. These are just little things to show how much you matter.”
Tears welled up in Lala’s eyes. She hugged the letter to her chest and curled up in the soft blanket, purring loudly. The gifts were wonderful, but the love behind them meant even more. She felt remembered, cherished, and deeply grateful.
