Monkey Lyly was worried and hurried to find the ducks because they were lost for unknown reasons.

It was a calm, sunny morning when Monkey Lyly came out to play near the pond, where her feathered friends, the ducks, usually gathered. Every day, Lyly would greet them, splash in the shallow water, and watch them waddle around with their happy quacks. But today, something was different—there was no sound, no movement, no ducks.

Lyly’s eyes widened as she looked around. “Where did they go?” she whispered, concern growing in her heart. She checked behind the trees, peeked into the tall grass, and even looked near the old wooden bridge—but not a single duck was in sight.

Worried, Lyly rushed back to the barn to tell the caretakers, but no one had seen the ducks since early morning. “Maybe they wandered off,” someone suggested. But Lyly knew these ducks well. They never strayed far from the pond. Something wasn’t right.

Without wasting another second, Lyly decided to search on her own. She ran through the fields, calling out softly, “Duckies! Where are you?” Her tiny feet moved fast over the dirt paths, and her little hands pushed through bushes as she looked in every corner.

Suddenly, she heard faint quacking in the distance. Lyly stopped and listened. “Quack! Quack!” Her ears perked up. She followed the sound until she reached a nearby ditch. There, trapped in the tall reeds and confused, were the ducks! Somehow, they had wandered off and couldn’t find their way back.

Lyly hurried to help, gently guiding them out one by one. The ducks flapped their wings happily, relieved to see their friend. With Lyly leading the way, the ducks waddled safely back to their pond.

Everyone cheered when they returned. Lyly beamed with pride, though her heart was still calming down from all the worry.

That day, Lyly became a little hero—not just a curious monkey, but a brave and caring friend who didn’t stop until she found those she loved.
