Lyly… Wake Up! Monkey Lyly fell asleep while waiting for her mother to come find her.

In the quiet shade of the tall trees, little monkey Lyly sat curled up near a large rock, her eyes scanning the forest path. She had been waiting for hours, hoping her mother would return soon. The sun was slowly sinking behind the trees, and the forest sounds grew softer, but Lyly didn’t want to leave. She believed, with all her heart, that her mother would come find her.

But the wait was long, and Lyly’s tiny body grew tired. Her head slowly drooped, and before she knew it, she had fallen fast asleep, curled up in a ball with her arms around her knees. The wind gently rustled the leaves above, and a few birds chirped softly, as if singing her a lullaby.

“Lyly… Wake up!” a soft voice called out in the distance.

Startled, Lyly opened her eyes, blinking at the fading sunlight. For a moment, she forgot where she was. Then she remembered—she had been waiting for her mother. She quickly stood up and looked around, her little heart racing. Was that her mother’s voice? Was she nearby?

Thuy, the caretaker who had been watching over Lyly from a distance, gently approached her with a warm smile and soft hands. “It’s okay, Lyly,” she whispered. “We’re still looking. You’re safe now.”

Lyly leaned into Thuy’s arms, feeling warmth and comfort, but deep down, she still longed for her mother. Even in her sleep, she had dreamed of that familiar face and soft touch. Though her mother hadn’t come yet, Lyly still believed.

That night, Lyly was tucked into a soft blanket, surrounded by love and care. And even though her mother hadn’t returned, she wasn’t alone. With a heart full of hope and a gentle whisper in her dreams, Lyly knew that the search wasn’t over.

Maybe tomorrow, she thought. Maybe tomorrow, my mommy will come.
