Monkey Lyly is always up to something silly, and today was no exception! Early in the morning, while everyone was still half-asleep, Lyly had an unexpected accident—she peed everywhere in the corner of the living room! She looked around quickly, realizing what she had done. Panic started to show on her face. If her mom saw the mess, Lyly knew she would definitely get scolded.
But Lyly is a clever little monkey. She didn’t waste any time. First, she grabbed a small towel from her toy basket. She had seen her mom clean spills before and decided to give it a try herself. She waddled over to the puddle and began patting it clumsily, trying to soak up as much as she could. It wasn’t perfect, but she was trying so hard!
Then she dragged a nearby pillow over the spot to hide what was left. As funny as it looked, Lyly thought this trick would do the job. Just in case, she even sat on the pillow, acting casual as if nothing had happened at all. When her mom walked in, she smiled sweetly and started playing with her toys, hoping to distract her from looking too closely.
But moms know everything! Lyly’s mom sniffed the air, paused, and gave Lyly a curious look. Still, Lyly stayed calm. She even brought over a banana to offer, like a little peace offering. Her mom couldn’t help but laugh at her daughter’s adorable (but sneaky) effort.
Though the mess had to be cleaned properly, Lyly’s quick thinking and funny way of hiding her accident made her mom smile. After helping clean everything up together, her mom reminded her to always let someone know if she needs to go potty. Lyly nodded with her big eyes wide, already plotting how to do better next time.
Even when she makes mistakes, Monkey Lyly shows she’s smart, resourceful, and always learning!
