Lala is Angry Because Thuy Eats Fruit Without Calling Her!

It was a sunny afternoon, and the house was quiet—almost too quiet. Lala was in her room, drawing pictures of her favorite animals, when she suddenly heard the faint sound of crunching. Her ears perked up. Crunch… munch… slurp! That was definitely someone eating fruit! Curious and a little suspicious, she tiptoed down the hallway.

To her shock, there was Thuy sitting comfortably at the kitchen table, enjoying a big bowl of fresh fruit—juicy mangoes, sweet strawberries, and slices of watermelon glistening under the sunlight. Lala’s eyes widened, and her little hands formed fists at her sides.

“Thuy!” Lala cried out, storming into the kitchen. “You ate all the fruit without me?!”

Thuy froze with a piece of pineapple halfway to her mouth. “Oh no! I didn’t think you’d want any. You were so busy drawing…”

Lala crossed her arms, her face flushed with frustration. “You always say that! Fruit is my favorite, especially strawberries. You should have called me!”

Thuy stood up and looked genuinely sorry. “You’re right, Lala. I didn’t think. I should have waited for you.”

Lala turned her head away dramatically, still fuming. “You didn’t even leave me one strawberry!”

But just then, Thuy opened the fridge and pulled out a small plate. “I actually saved your favorites. I was going to surprise you after you finished your drawing.”

Lala blinked, then peeked at the plate. There they were—three perfect strawberries, a few mango slices, and a tiny bowl of grapes with her name written on it.

Her anger melted away almost instantly. “You did that for me?”

Thuy nodded. “I just wanted you to enjoy them when you were ready.”

Lala smiled, took the plate, and sat beside her. “Next time, just call me, okay? I want to eat fruit together.”

“Deal,” Thuy said, and they both shared the rest with laughter and sticky fingers.

Because in the end, fruit tastes even better when it’s shared with someone you love. 🍓❤️
