We would like to offer our deepest condolences.

It’s the hardest thing as an adult that we’ve gone through. There’s a silence in the house now that feels unnatural. An empty space where laughter and paw-steps used to echo. Losing someone you love—whether human or animal—cuts deep, and no words can truly ease the heartbreak. The pain doesn’t go away overnight. It lingers in the smallest of moments: when you reach for the leash out of habit, when you glance toward his favorite spot on the couch, when you instinctively wait for the happy bark or purr that no longer comes.

There’s nothing immediate that can fill the void, and that’s the cruel truth of grief. All we can do is hold on. Hold on to the memories, the silly routines, the warmth he brought into our lives. You gave him a beautiful life, full of love, joy, and purpose. He knew he was adored—without a doubt. That tail wag, that look in his eyes, the way he leaned into your touch—it was all his way of saying, thank you.

Right now, everything may feel raw and overwhelming. That’s okay. Grief isn’t linear. Some days you might smile, other days you’ll fall apart. But in time—maybe weeks, maybe months—you’ll start to remember him with more warmth than sorrow. His picture won’t make you cry; it’ll make you chuckle at the memory of his quirks, the way he greeted you like it was the best moment of his day, every day.

We like to think we will one day meet again. That rainbow bridge isn’t just a comforting thought—it’s a hope, a belief that love like this doesn’t just vanish. Until that day, carry him with you. In your heart. In the way you continue to love others. In the way you speak his name with reverence and affection.

Hang in there. This is one of life’s most brutal lessons, but also one of its most beautiful—because it reminds us just how deep love can go. And he was loved. Completely. Fiercely. Unconditionally.

From our hearts to yours, we are so sorry.
