Lala Panics and Worries When It Rains Heavily and Thunders!

Lala was a cheerful little girl most of the time. She loved playing with her toys, dancing around the living room, and going on mini-adventures in the backyard. But there was one thing she couldn’t stand—thunderstorms.

Whenever the sky grew dark and the clouds began to rumble, Lala’s smile would fade. Her heart would start to race, and her hands would get sweaty. As soon as the first loud boom of thunder cracked through the sky, she would rush to her bedroom, pull her blanket over her head, and cover her ears. “Make it stop, make it stop!” she would whisper over and over.

Her parents tried everything to comfort her. Her mom would sit beside her, holding her close and reminding her, “Thunder can’t hurt you, sweetie. It’s just noise.” Her dad even bought her a cute stuffed bear named Stormy, hoping it would help her feel braver. But still, each loud crash made her panic.

One evening, when a particularly loud storm rolled in, Lala’s grandmother came to visit. Seeing Lala curled up under the table, trembling, Grandma gently took her hand. “Did you know thunder is just the sky playing drums?” she said with a smile. “And the rain? It’s like the sky washing itself clean.”

Lala peeked out, curious. “Really?”

“Yes,” Grandma said. “Let’s listen together. I’ll be with you the whole time.”

They sat near the window, wrapped in a warm blanket. With Grandma by her side, Lala listened more carefully. The thunder still roared, but she imagined it was the sky’s music. The rain tapped like a soft lullaby on the roof.

Little by little, the fear inside her began to fade. That night, Lala didn’t hide. She held Stormy in one hand and Grandma’s hand in the other, facing the storm with a tiny smile.

From then on, thunderstorms weren’t quite so scary. After all, with a little love and imagination, even the loudest storm could sound like a song.
