Monkey Lyly Accidentally Dirtied the Floor Because She Didn’t Wear Shoes – And the Ending…

It was a sunny morning, and little Monkey Lyly was full of energy. The garden outside was calling to her with its colorful flowers and chirping birds. As soon as the gate creaked open, Lyly dashed outside, her tiny feet padding along the dirt and grass. She was so excited to explore that she completely forgot one very important thing—her shoes!

She played joyfully in the yard, hopping through the flowerbeds and stepping in puddles without a care in the world. Her hands and feet were covered in mud, and her fur was speckled with dust. After a good while, she decided it was time to head back inside for a snack.

The moment she walked into the living room, she left a trail of muddy little footprints across the clean white tiles. Not just a few—every step told the story of her backyard adventure. The floor, which Mom had just mopped that morning, was now speckled with dirt and leaves.

When Mom entered the room and saw the mess, her jaw dropped. “Lyly!” she exclaimed. Monkey Lyly froze, realizing something was wrong. She looked down at her muddy feet, then at the mess she’d made, and her little face crumpled in guilt.

Expecting a scolding, Lyly lowered her head. But instead, Mom sighed, smiled slightly, and said, “At least I know someone had fun today.”

To Lyly’s surprise, Mom handed her a small towel. “Come on, let’s clean it together,” she said kindly. Lyly nodded and quickly got to work, wiping the floor with careful, clumsy strokes. She worked hard, and soon the room was spotless again.

The ending? Not anger, but teamwork—and a lesson learned. From that day forward, Monkey Lyly always remembered to grab her shoes before heading outside. And every time she wiped her feet at the door, she’d grin proudly, knowing she was doing the right thing… and saving Mom from another surprise cleanup!
