Lyly the Monkey Is Upset with the Cameraman Because He Told Her Mother About Her Secret

Lyly usually loved the cameraman. Whenever she heard the soft click of the lens or saw him walking into the yard, she rushed over with curiosity and playful energy. But today was different. Today, Lyly sat with her arms crossed, lips pushed into a deep pout, and eyes full of betrayal. The reason? The cameraman had told her mother about her secret.

It all started earlier that morning when Lyly discovered a hidden stash of snacks. Carefully, she had tucked the treats behind a stack of baskets, planning to enjoy them later in peace. She even glanced at the camera and gave a tiny warning look, as if saying, Don’t tell anyone. The cameraman, amused, quietly filmed her clever act.

Unfortunately for Lyly, secrets don’t stay secrets for long—especially when Mom is involved. When her mother casually walked over and reached straight for the hidden snacks, Lyly froze. Her eyes widened, then slowly turned toward the cameraman. In that moment, she knew. He had betrayed her.

Lyly let out a dramatic huff and stomped away, refusing to look at him. When he tried to get closer, she turned her back completely, tail flicking in clear annoyance. Even when he called her name softly, Lyly pretended not to hear, focusing very seriously on a leaf instead.

Her mother, amused by the situation, gently patted Lyly’s head and shared the snacks anyway. But Lyly wasn’t ready to forgive. She shot the cameraman a look that clearly said, I trusted you. At one point, she even covered her face with her hands whenever the camera pointed her way, peeking through her fingers just to make sure he was watching her sulk.

It didn’t last long, of course. After a while, the cameraman offered her a favorite fruit as a peace offering. Lyly hesitated, glanced at her mother, then slowly accepted it. The pout softened. The anger faded.

Soon, Lyly was back to climbing, playing, and sneaking glances at the camera again. But the lesson was learned: Lyly takes her secrets very seriously. And next time, the cameraman might think twice before telling Mom.
