Bath time is supposed to be fun — but not for our clever little Lyly! The moment Mom says, “It’s time for your bath, Lyly,” the mischievous monkey’s expression instantly changes. Her eyes widen, her lips pout, and her tail curls around her as if to say, “No way, not again!”
Lyly’s dislike for baths is well-known in the house. She loves playing in the garden, climbing, and even helping Dad with chores — but the sound of running water turns her into the world’s cutest protester. Today was no different. As soon as Mom brought out her tiny shampoo and towel, Lyly made her move.
Quick as lightning, she ran across the room and wrapped herself tightly around the heater! Her little arms clung with all her strength, and she pressed her face against it as if hiding from her fate. “Mom… I don’t like it!” her squeaky voice seemed to say through her expressive eyes. The scene was so funny that even the cameraman couldn’t stop laughing.
Mom tried to coax her gently, saying, “Lyly, it’s just a quick bath, you’ll feel fresh!” But Lyly shook her head and hugged the heater even tighter, refusing to budge. Her stubborn little face was both adorable and pitiful at the same time.
After a few minutes of persuasion, Mom offered her a warm towel and a small treat — Lyly’s favorite banana slices. Slowly, curiosity won over fear. She loosened her grip, peeked at the warm water, and cautiously reached out one hand. With Mom’s gentle encouragement, Lyly finally stepped into the bath, still frowning but trusting her mother completely.
Once the warm water touched her fur, her resistance softened. She relaxed, letting Mom wash her gently. By the end of it, Lyly was clean, fluffy, and smelling sweet.
Wrapped in a cozy towel afterward, she snuggled into Mom’s arms, looking both proud and embarrassed. Even though she didn’t like it, Lyly knew — bath time wasn’t so bad when love surrounded her. ❤️🐒🛁
