CUTIS Takes Baby Monkey to Apologize to the Goat

It was another playful morning at the rescue farm, and mischievous little baby monkey was up to her usual tricks. While the caretakers were busy cleaning, she spotted the gentle goat peacefully munching on grass. With curiosity sparkling in her eyes, she decided to play a “fun” game—sneaking up and tugging on the goat’s tail!

The goat jumped and bleated in surprise, spinning around to see the little prankster giggling and running away. But the goat didn’t think it was funny at all. She stomped her hooves and turned her head, clearly upset. The baby monkey hid behind Cutis, the wise and calm dog of the farm, peeking out nervously.

When the caretaker saw what had happened, she gently explained that teasing others wasn’t nice. The baby monkey lowered her head, realizing she had made a mistake. That’s when Cutis stepped in like the big brother he was. He barked softly, nudging the little monkey forward as if saying, “Come on, let’s make things right.”

Together, they walked toward the goat. The baby monkey clung to Cutis’s back, her tiny face filled with guilt. When they reached her, the goat gave a low “baa,” still a little grumpy. The monkey slowly climbed down, clutching a handful of green leaves she had picked as a peace offering.

With trembling hands, she held the leaves out to the goat. For a moment, no one moved. Then, to everyone’s relief, the goat sniffed the offering, took a bite, and relaxed. The baby monkey smiled shyly, patting the goat’s head. Cutis wagged his tail proudly, circling around them as if saying, “Good job!”

The tension melted away, replaced by laughter and warmth. Soon, the three of them were sitting under the shade together—the goat chewing contentedly, Cutis lying beside them, and the baby monkey gently stroking the goat’s fur.

It was a sweet lesson in kindness and forgiveness. Thanks to Cutis’s gentle guidance, the little monkey learned that a sincere apology and a kind heart could mend even the silliest of mistakes.
